Olympic Gold
DorfmeisterOne of Unicity's 20 testpartners from Austria for the exclusive Unicity Xxtra Fitness products won the OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL  in Downhill Race Skiing in Turin, February 15, 2006.

Michaela Dorfmeister won the gold medal in the women's downhill on Wednesday ahead of Martina Schild and Anja Paerson.

In rapidly deteriorating conditions at San Sicario, the 32-year-old Austrian set the Olympic standard with a time of one minute 56.49 seconds.

"This was my last dream," Dorfmeister told reporters. "Now I will be able to retire with a perfect feeling and I can't wait to start a new life."

Dorfmeister announced her retirement at the beginning of the season. Having already wrapped up the women's world cup downhill competition before the Winter Games, the Austrian kept the dream script alive with her commanding performance. Congratulations, Michaela!

Ghent University-Certified Xxtra Fitness Products

Xxtra Fitness products are completely free of anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) and stimulants. These products underwent stringent laboratory examinations and were tested negative for AAS and stimulants at the Ghent University Doping Control Laboratory.

This lab, which is accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency, is among the most prestigious in the world, and is frequently relied upon to provide test results to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Unicity is one of only a handful of companies to receive such certification. This gives the athletes complete confidence in their sports supplementation. When you have trained so hard to compete in elite events such as the Olympics, the worst let-down is to be disqualified due to your unknowingly taking of supplements that contain banned substances. Feedback From Marathon Runner Roy Chen-Campbell

"Hi, I'm Roy Chen-Campbell. I've been training hard for the 240Km marathon in the Sahara Desert and have been using your product LowOz these last 4 weeks. Even in such a short time, I can feel the difference your product makes compared to my previous electrolyte replacement drink.

"During my long runs, I used to get some cramping in my muscle and soreness towards the end of my training, which could be attributed to deficiency in sodium and other minerals and electrolytes in my system. I found that with LowOz I was not having as much cramping, and fatigue, and my recovery was much faster.

"I also don't seem to need as much of the water/LowOz mix as with my previous drink and so I don't feel as bloated, (or it's absorbing better).

"With my previous drink, I would feel nauseated by the artificial flavor on top of the sickly salty sweetness, by the end of my training or race. With LowOz, the taste is mild and refreshing, not too sweet or salty.

"The packaging is also ideal. The ready made packages are easy to pack, easy to open, and no messy pre-measuring is needed. I just need to add to my water bottle and fill it up.

"Even though I have only been using LowOz for the last 4 weeks, I feel confident enough in this product that I will be using it for my upcoming race; the toughest footrace in the world; The Marathon des Sables, in the Sahara desert."

Feedback From Shelley McKee, Triathlete from Windsor, Ontario

"Hi, I'm Shelley McKee. I've been a triathlete for 6 years now and have completed  4 Ironman triathlons, including the World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. I will be racing at Ironman Coeur d'Alene as well as Ironman Florida this year.  I have always trained and used the electrolyte products offered out on the race courses.

"Last week I had the privilege to train in the Mountains of South Carolina. I decided to exclusively try the LowOz product for all my hydration needs. I pre-mixed LowOz in all of my bottles that I would be carrying with me on my bike. I found the product not to be sickly sweet and I didn't experience any stomach discomfort as a result. LowOz tastes great!!!

"Hours of climbing can normally leave you fatigued, I didn't experience any sugar highs and crashes on my ride. In fact, the next days ride felt even better than the first day.  By the third day I had run out of LowOz and had to resort to the "usual" electrolyte replacement drink.  I noticeably had stomach issues and was grasping at just about anything to feel better.  As a result, I did not have the best possible ride.

"I will definitely be using LowOz in all of my training and racing this year. The convenient packets can easily be stored in my back pocket and quickly mixed with water.

"Thanks Unicity for making an excellent product!!!"

Shelley McKee
